“Along Time” Album Presentation
Friends, musicians, actors and directors applaud the cues from the anthology of soundtracks that composer Stefano Mainetti transcribed, dedicating them to Luca Pincini’s cello and Gilda Buttà’s piano. The Forum Studios, the large recording studio for Oscar-winning soundtracks, in the heart of Rome’s Parioli district, hosted the presentation of “Along Time’’, an album published by Da Vinci Classics, the record label directed by musicologist Edmondo Filippini, also present on all the main digital platforms. The title, however you read it, is a story of a long journey that, outside of metaphors, is a path of musical experiences shared by the award-winning composer and the Duo Pincini Buttà. “This anthology tells above all about the meeting of three souls,” says Stefano Mainetti, “whose artistic and human sensibilities have intertwined over time and have resisted its passing, as the album title alludes to.”
