A Cry for a new Renaissance
On June 24, took place in Rome, at the Studios in Via Tiburtina 521, “A Cry for a new Renaissance” – First National Workers’ Day of the Show – In absolute compliance with current regulations regarding safety and health, the cry of artists and operators from the world of entertainment and culture has risen, through a complex and evocative staging. A riot of lights, bodies, colors and music. An outcry of pain that wants to turn into a hymn to hope.
The soundtrack of “A Cry for a new Renaissance” event organized with the patronage of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, to solicit a greater commitment in supporting Italian art, culture and entertainment, by the institutions in charge, was an exceptional adventure, definitely unusual, said Stefano Mainetti: “I have composed original parts and orchestrated cues from my symphonic repertoire, working side by side with great artists who motivated and spurred me with their creativity. The path reminded me closely of the Italian Melodrama, where different art forms compete to produce a result greater than the sum of the parts. Musicians, dancers, actors, visual artists and all the categories of showbiz workers, in just over half an hour we tried to give a voice, a “Cry”, to the Italian entertainment sector. A unique event of its kind, with the hope of communicating to everyone and without controversy, our needs, our passion and our urgency. “
